Enjoy with WHAT??!!

First a big otsukaresama to the Jungle Tale cast and crew......while I have my weekends back, I am a bit down about it being over. I've sworn it will be my last as I have a vast amount to improve in order to pass the Japanese level 2 test.

Now its back to the old grind this week. Started it off with the monthly meet of the areas ALTs. We got yet another version of the model curriculum for elementary school english classes, this one's lessons making more sense in terms of content, but the wording....
Examples of topic headings:
"Let's Greet!"
"Enjoy with colors!"
"Enjoy with numbers!"
"Enjoy with food!"
"Enjoy with animals!"
followed closely by everyone in the room bursting out as their eye found their way to the bottom of the first column to find "Enjoy with body parts!"

Other wierd things....while playing volleyball with 1st year girls (this is Junior High so they are pretty silly most of the time) one girl told me she wanted "big bust" (Big busto hoshii!) she told me I have a big bust and her friends giggled and apologized saying she has okashii atama. They were trying to translate this into English and it came out (she is a snack). Because okashi is snack and okashii is wierd in Japanese.
